Luca Grigoletto
Director of Member Services
Luca is the new international face of our Club. Born and raised in Venice, Italy, he brings years of experience in luxury hospitality. Starting as a bellboy at one of Venice’s most iconic hotels, he quickly rose through the ranks, becoming one of the city’s youngest General Managers, specializing in five-star openings and rebranding.
After leaving hospitality to pursue his passion for fitness with his own online business, Luca was drawn to the charm of our North Fork gem and eagerly embraced his new role at the Club. He is here to assist with membership applications and event planning, bringing a fresh European touch, warm hospitality, and a smile to every interaction. His dedication to excellence ensures that every member and guest feels truly welcome.
Jason Sarne
Restaurant Manager
Jason Sarne knew the very first day working at his grandfather’s restaurant over 35 years ago, that food and drink would be his passion. His culinary journey has spanned across the country in a wide variety of high end and casual dining experiences. Jason looks forward to providing a fun and elevated dining experience at The Vineyards Country Club as the Restaurant Manager.
Chef Thomas Lopez
Head Chef
Chef Thomas Lopez, also known as Chef Tomas, began his culinary journey in his uncle’s deli in Brooklyn while still in high school. He later served as a cook and baker in the U.S. Navy’s Submarine Force, stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, aboard the USS Tunny (SSN 682). Following his military service, he pursued a formal culinary education at Johnson & Wales University, earning an Associate of Science (AOS) in Culinary Arts and a Bachelor of Science (BOS) in Food Service Management. He then honed his skills in some of Long Island’s top restaurants, including La Marmite in East Williston Park and Il Toscana in Douglaston, Queens.
Chef Lopez went on to lead kitchens on the North Fork of Long Island, where his work received accolades from The New York Times, Newsday, and Dan’s Papers. Today, he has the honor of applying his expertise at The Vineyards Golf and Country Club, where he is leading the kitchen staff in crafting exceptional dining experiences. With a passion for culinary excellence, he ensures that every dish is not only delicious but also a memorable part of the overall guest experience.
